Sooooo, this morning I tried out a new app called MapMyRun, and it was pretty sweet! I ran with my phone, played music through Pandora, and every mile it would tell me the mile number, average pace, and current pace. It tracks your run via GPS and then you can review your stats over time. It also allows for training plans, and is fully customizeable. I really like it! So hopefully I’ll use it in the future. Only problem is, I’m not a big fan of running while holding a phone/ipod/etc. unless I’m on a treadmill.
This morning, I did 4 miles, and man was it rough. It was around 1pm and it was really hot, and I hadn’t eaten all day. So hopefully tomorrows run will be better!
